What is the point of giving 500 hp to something that tall. It can’t make good use of it. Its like..you have a sprinters legs, but with a bodybuilder upper body.

The point is to spend money and show everyone on the streets how much money you spent, if you have money.

When I worked at a Mercedes facility, one time the company drove in the complete 2012+ test mule lineup. They were using the garage facilities as a scheduled stop point. So, because of that I got to witness engineers engineer and also become quite nervous when I started poking around for closer views on interior bits. lol.
Another time, Dr. Zetsche and the Daimler board paid a visit during the summer. That included gathering up a bunch of competitor vehicles for the board members to test drive. Felt honored to have helped select the cars used in the test drive.
